New Spinnerets is able to produce spin packs for Spunbond and Meltblown processes long more than 5 meters with an extraordinary attention to constructive details to grant the satisfaction of every requirement. New micro perforation processes have been developed to produce capillaries of 0.2mm with L/D of more than ten times and an internal finishing of 0.01. With this in mind, we design and produce each of our utensils. At the time of delivery is always issued a document certifying the quality of the material used for processing, paired with a data sheet that highlights temperature thresholds and critical pressure not to be exceeded during the process and cleaning. Thanks to its engineers and technicians New Spinnerets is able to evaluate and advise the layout of holes most suited to the needs of each customer.
New Spinnerets, when possible, always recommends renewing instead of replacing. Performing a thorough refurbishment means bringing the supply chain back to default state in very short times and with an investment decidedly more convenient compared to the creation of a new supply chain. Moreover, refurbishing is an almost zero impact practice, proved to be the only solution to make the most of every supply chain while maintaining the production rate constant.
It’s possible to refurbish any type of supply chain and any size. Once the status of the plant is assessed we proceed to the total restoration of the same, also restoring the essential finishes. In case it appears that it’ll not be possible to perform a homogeneous restoration on the whole perforated area due an extended damage of the capillaries, we will proceed to the closure and execution of new capillaries.
New Spinnerets is able to perform any cross section, either circular or shaped, paying attention to shaping thoroughly the whole capillary and the preceding preface.
New Spinnerets is able to realize a wide range of spin packs and components for synthetic fibres with holes up to 0.05mm and capillaries long over 10 times the diameter. New Spinnerets ensures a tolerance of less than 0.002mm on the diameter of the holes, thanks to a preventive check on the tools that we manufacture and use for drilling, where we discard any tool that exceeds the established tolerance.
Different types of capillaries can be made. The shape of the diameter can be moulded, as well as the inclination and the layout on which the perforated area is placed. In addition to polymer extrusion dies, New Spinnerets is able to realize capillaries inside nozzles, micro-drilling for injectors, nozzles for 3d printing, precision measuring equipment.
The New Spinnerets team offers a dedicated service to each customer through the help of technicians, engineers and specialized consultants. First of all, the construction quality and fluid dynamic performance of the existing spin pack are carefully analysed. Wether it’s possible or not to intervene on the pre-existing system is evaluated with the customer in order to choose the best solution between optimization and replacement. New Spinnerets is also qualified to perform direct interventions on the plant and extend a correct process phase to obtain the desired fibres.
New Spinnerets is specialized in the design of extruders and other active components for Meltblown and Spunbond processes. Extrusion heads are designed and manufactured complete of polymer splits, air distributors, probe seats and resistors. Thanks to the experience and the help of CFD calculation software we’re able to meet the needs of any customer giving an objective preview of the solutions that will be implemented. Although it is not always possible to obtain a whole vision, it is still effective to get a feedback in short times, avoiding expensive physical tests.
